Filters The Connell team was recently engaged by Northpower as civil contractors in Auckland to redevelop two transformer bays at their 33/11kV substation in Auckland, with the project scheduled for completion in late 2024.
Our scope of works included demolishing the old and constructing new concrete foundations, fire walls, trenching and drainage works and fencing and gating around the site.
The construction works had to be completed in two stages and our team had to allow for the substation to be live and functioning during construction. Stringent health and safety processes meant this was no trouble for our experienced team.
