Project Description
Hoods Landing Pump Station Replacement
This contract was located on the banks of the Waikato River at Otaua.
Due to the close proximity to a significant waterway strict environmental controls were in place.
Technical Overview
The site was dewatered to allow the construction of a coffer dam, the upgrade of inlet bays and platforms, replacement of the inlet screens, installation of a new outlet structure to the existing headwall, replacement of increased size pipework and reinstatement of the stopbank.
