Soil improvement works has commenced at Albany substation in preparation for the new ODID precast building. Formation level is two meters deep, due to the weak soils, and is backfilled with high quality aggregate and geogrid.

The precast cable pit panels to the basement will be installed in the next two weeks together with 340 UPVC cable outlets. Works are on track and the building is expected to be completed in 20 weeks.
